The Modeller

A loft-based layout not restricted by era or region, spanning across pre-grouping steam all the way to modern multiple units. Salford York Street itself is a four-platform station (p3 is a bay platform) with a stabling siding between platforms 3 & 4. The layout also features York Street Sidings - seven goods sidings of a decent length. The scenery is currently very basic but under development. There are three running loops; loop 1 is Hornby 4th radius and DCC (platform 1 and the five outer sidings are all on this loop); loop 2 is Hornby 3rd radius and interchangeable between DCC and DC (platforms 2 & 3, as well as the stabling sidings are on this loop); loop 3 is Hornby 2nd radius and DC (platform 4 and the two inner goods sidings are on this loop).
